Chuck began working with glass in 1989 in a production studio in Boulder Colorado. With a background in computer science and mathematics, he received a BA in Philosophy from the University of Colorado in 1995, and a MFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 1999. Chuck has been awarded grants and residencies from Pilchuck Glass School, PONCHO, Artist Trust, and CGCA-Wheaton Arts and was the Pilchuck Auction centerpiece designer in 2006.
